Monday

On this episode of projecting my personal delinquencies onto others...

Giving Tuesday isn’t set up for success.

We all recognize this, right?

Barely any of us budget anyway. (This is me projecting my own delinquencies onto everyone).

So, asking me to save or section off money to help others who Really Fucking Need It, money I’m otherwise hurling at air fryers (close), cashmere baseball caps (three strike perp), or three-wick candles (tradition), is je ne sais quoi, but it’s not a good idea.

I’ll be giving, but not on Tuesday, as I have successfully ascended a not-so-small November spending interval. I am now perched atop it’s zenith, pining for a steady descent courtesy of poor fits and Purchased by Accidents.

I — figuratively, because I know myself too well — froze my credit card yesterday, on Sunday.

That was until the three hundredth email about Cyber Monday (which should really be Cyber Sunday, imo) mildly alerted me that I’d forgotten to save a few precious fun tickets on barely discounted face cream.

Out of stock.

A saving grace.

Holiday sales aren’t so compelling anything when you show up late.

Mondays aren’t so scary when you cancel your meetings.

Something about not hating the game not the player…

À tout!
